Unsorted Questions

Every investigation is different, as compared to another investigation; just as every Client is different, as compared to another Client. However, some investigations can be grouped into categories, and we are displaying some of the most prominent categories on this website. Yet, some investigations just cannot be categorized, and that is why we have an UNSORTED category.

We have some persons who ask that we provide advice and suggestions regarding “Cold Cases”, which may have occurred 10, 20, or even 70 years ago.

There are those who are having difficulties with a specific family members, and ask for advice on what to do about those family members.

We have persons who are experiencing “employment problems” and are not sure what options they have in resolving those problems.

We have received many questions about “counter-surveillance”. These submissions usually start with something like, “How can I tell if someone is following me ?” “If someone is following me, what can I do about it ?” “What if someone is following me, and they are not a PI ?” “Can someone who is not a PI, follow another person ?” Unfortunately, some of those persons who are submitting these questions may be a victim of a “stalking situation”. If they are, something needs to be done.

For a long time we received hundreds and hundreds of questions about CSI’s and Homicide Detectives. We placed many of those questions, and our responses, into the UNSORTED category. We finally decided that we would try to answer those by emailing our responses directly back to the person asking the questions, but not post all of the questions and answers. We made this decision for two basic reasons. First, was that there were so many questions that were repetitive. The other reason was because we are trying to focus our efforts in providing answers to questions about investigations, and investigative issues. Immediately below this paragraph is the routine answer that we provide to those who ask questions that are not related in any way to “investigations”.

“Two years ago we put this website together to accomplish two things. First, we wanted to provide advice and guidance to persons who had questions about situations and problems, in which they were involved, and were in need of a Private Investigation. Second, we wanted to assist Private Investigators who are relatively new to the profession, when they encounter situations that are puzzling them, and want some suggestions from an experienced PI. This category also included those who wanted to get into the PI profession. We wanted be able to post our responses on the website, under the categories in which they were asked, for others to read. We also wanted to respond directly to the person who submitted their question(s), if they so desired. We have been overwhelmed with the response from those who search the internet. Unfortunately, a huge percentage of those questions that were submitted, had nothing to do with investigations. Due to ongoing investigations at this Agency, and the time that they consume; we have no choice but to limit our responses to those questions that coincide with our original intentions.

Under our “Unsorted” category, there are over 1,500 “Frequently Asked Questions” and responses, that may be of some assistance to you. You are welcome to review them.”

There are a few persons who send us questions, and do not provide us any means of sending them a response. If their question seems reasonable, and stated in a sensible manner, we will answer that question. We then post that question and response in the appropriate category. Sometimes that category is “Unsorted”. If their question does not seem reasonable, or is not stated in a sensible manner, we delete the question.
